Frequetly Asked Questions
There are so many questions that need to be answered, and it’s possible that this is the first time you have taken a moment to think about what you want for the funeral or memorial of a loved one.
We’re always delighted to answer your questions, and should we have neglected to include your particular question about funeral live streaming services in general, or the specific funeral services we offer; please contact us.
Can our family in Australia watch?
Absolutely, our live streaming services work all over the globe. In fact Australia is one of the most requested countries for viewing our funeral live streaming services.
What is the church has no internet or wi-fi?
We bring very specialist equipment with us, so we don’t depend on the church or over venue to have internet or wi-fi to allow us to live stream.
Our kit uses multiple 4G networks which are bonded together to give us enough upload bandwidth to push video from our location.
Family don't want to be seen on camera
We totally understand, and respect this. When we live stream the funeral service, we work from the back of the church so our view is from behind the congregation looking toward the lectern.
The only faces seen are those going to speak during the service.
At the end of the service as everyone exits the church, this is where faces can be seen, but we stop the stream as the coffin is passing us.
Do we get a recording of the funeral service?
Yes, all our live streaming services include a playback option to view the full stream online and you may download the recording to keep safe.
Do you film the service on a phone?
Absolutely not, we use all professional cameras, vision mixing kit, audio mixer, UHF wireless audio devices and networking encoders.
This is how we produce great visual and audio from each service.
Do you visit the church before the day to check?
This depends on distance and if we have worked there before which is possible. If it’s not possible to visit before and we don’t know the church, we do our pre online survey, this is to understand the network coverage, seeing the layout and speaking with the church staff.
The most important thing is to have network available, in rural locations, we often have our network kit outside or by a window to establish good signals.
Do you move around during the funeral service?
No, we work in a very unobtrusive style, in fact, you probably won’t even know we are there. We arrive early, set up and then stay tucked away at the back. We stay at that spot throughout the service and work very quietly. So rest assured we don’t cause any disruption, this is why many churches and funeral directors use and refer us.
